What is Spirit Day at Camp W?
Every Tuesday at Camp W is Spirit Day. Campers and staff will dress-up according to the activity. Some of the spirit days are Nerd Day, Dress Like Your Counselor Day, Twin Day, Crazy Hair Day, Disco Day, Pajama Day, Dress Like Candy Day, Future Day, 1950’s Day, Star Wars Day, Dress Like Your Parents Day, and Show Your Camp Spirit Day are just some of the spirit days we have at camp.
Do Campers Stay in Their Costumes All Day?
Campers arrive at camp in their spirit attire. When Morning Ceremonies are over, all campers will meet on the big soccer field, form a hug circle, and participate in a parade. Each group will walk inside the circle to show off their costume as the rest of the camp will be clapping while music is played. One camper from each camp division will be recognized for their outstanding costume. Pictures will be taken and displayed on the camp website. Campers may stay in costume or they may get changed after the parade is over.
